My mom has always been a very depressed person, but i never realized how depressed she really was. I never thought anything of it until november of 2000 about 2 weeks after my dad (her ex husband)died whne i woke up to the car pulling out of the driveway very fast then i got worried and went to go see if my mom was awake,but when i went into her room her and my step dad were gone that was when things started to go through my mind bad things about if they were ok. while i waited for them to call or come home my 4 little sisters slept then the phone rang at about 3:00AM i pickit up in a hurry and it was my step dad telling me that my mom just tried to kill her self by overdose on diet pills and is getting her tummy pumped. after that night she attempted to kill her self 3 more times and after the 3rd time i got so scared for her life and i would not go to sleep untill she did and then i would watch her sleep and cry and i would cry my self to sleep every night because i was scared that if i went to sleep then when i woke up my mom would be dead and i could not aford to lose her and niether could any of my little sisters.
