1.Flutes...they are fine when you cant hear them, you hate them when they get more attention for sounding like a dying bird.
2.Clarinets are the best. We dont blow because we have trumpets behind us playing the exact same thing 70x louder, they drown us out, WHATS THE POINT?
3.Trumpets often think they are better than others because they get more solos..this isnt true..theyre just loud..so we have to give them the solos.(haha jk)
4.Dr. Beat was created by Satan.
5.It causes great pain to the 8th graders.
6.The 9th graders seem to be immune to this noise.
7."One more time" in actuality means, until the band director thinks its good enough to win competition, or stun a concert audience.
8.Even if the band director makes you crazy, he is still the coolest teacher you will ever have..and you know it.
9.You WILL gripe all of marching season..and you will be dissapointed when its over.
10.Band people are WIERD.
11.Thats why they are cool.
12.Drums are ALWAYS too loud.
13.Male trumpets think spit valves are fun to pour on people(poor peter!)
14.Male trumpets think its funny to blast the clarinets off the stands during football games.
15.The only female trumpet is always the best..or close to.
16."One time, at band camp.." isnt funny, it never was, it never will be.
17.Its fun to be in step with people..it becomes a habit.
18.As an 7th grader, the director will make you cry you are so scared of him, as an 8th grader, he will still make you really nervous...as a 9th grader..you will think of him as a parent..
19.Band..IS cool
20.You dont REALLY hate band...and if you do, its probably because you suck
21.Directors dont like cheerleaders
22.You will lose SOMETHING at band night (lyre,jacket,mouthpiece..the list goes on)
23.Concert season may be prettier than marching season..but it isnt near as eventful
24.The director gets more frustrated in concert season
25.Directors + Airhorns is an evil...EVIL combination(Only last years Clarinet section get that...KRYSTA!!)
26.Your life will be better because of band
27.Band people should not be allowed sugar
28.2nd hour band is as close to hell as humans can get
29.Band directors dont like smart alecs
30.Your band director will always wear plaid/striped shirts.. its the law or something..
31.Band kids dont go to football games to watch the game...so many other exciting things within your section happen.
32.You really DONT want to know what they are laughing at
