I’m writing this poem to show you I care,
Just to thank you for being there,
Best friends we’ll always be,
In every problem it’s just you and me,
Through thick and thin I’ll never go away,
And just the same I hope you’ll stay.
When you feel you can’t make it a second longer,
Remember I once told you hard times make you stronger,
Were the best of friends forever I'll be true
There will never be a time I won’t be there for you,
When you need help I'll take your hand and guide your way,
Just because knowing your my friend brightens my day,
Never will I put you down or make you feel alone,
I will smile and try to comfort you because together we have grown,
Forever and always I’ll be there to give you hugs or just to care,
Between us there is a trust deeper then the big blue sea,
Friends forever you and me,
Whenever you don’t want to laugh I'll be there for you,
Even when you need a hug I’ll help you with that one too,
For friends like you a just like gold,
As I’m sure we’ve all been told,
So promise me you’ll be my friend
Until we reach the very end.
