Americans VS. *Canadians = Please Grow up ppl!!!!

OK, I've read a ton of things talking about Americans VS. Canadians and such.  First of all, umm... hello we live on the same exact continent for starters.  So there is  boarder between the two contries, wow big deal {fake excitment}.  I think that both countries have a lot to learn from each other. Neither one is better than the other.  If one person is standing in a room on one side and another person is at the other end, which one is better?
No one can help where they are born anymore than they can help who their parents are.  There is nothing wrong with having a little bit of pride in who you are.  There is great difference between a proud man and a boastful one.
I happen to be not only American but a Hispanic female as well, I am very proud of where I come from but I don't rub it in the face of anyone. The man I intend to spend the rest of my life with is not only Canadian but Indian as well, he is very proud of where he comes from but does not rub it in the face of anyone. So our children (way in the future)  will be both Canadian and American and I'd like to think that they wouldn't have to struggle with who they are and where their pride should be.
It is time that these issues people are having come to an end.  When it comes down to it, we all cry tears, we all shed blood; no matter where we come from.
