I saw you, a little while ago,
Sitting gently on in your seat,
Ever so sweetly,
And calmly,
Your eye’s sparkling like the star’s reflection on the
ocean,
You hair gently falling over your shoulder,
And slight smile on your face.
It was hard to pull my self on,
For my eye’s,
My body,
And my soul,
Wanted me to go to you,
Talk to you,
But I knew I wasn’t good enough for you…
The next day,
I saw you again,
Gently sitting,
The same beautiful smile,
That wonderful look in your eye’s,
The sun gleaming warmly down upon you,
And yet again, I pulled myself away…
Day after day,
I find you in your seat,
Me watching you ever so closely,
Wanting to just say hi,
Tell you how I feel,
But to sacred to do it,
The fear and love inside me fought for control every
day,
Fighting over if I should say hi,
Or just walk away.
I regret not letting the love win,
And I hated it so very much.
But one day,
I finally went up and talked to you.
You told me you had watched me too,
And were just as scared as me,
And so,
I asked you to go out,
And you said yes…
It’s now Valentines Day,
And I walk you to school,
I give you a kiss,
As we part for our class’s,
We meet after school,
And walk home so slow,
Letting the sun warm our bodies,
Admiring the wonderful Earth,
But all I can do,
Is look into your eyes,
For no creation on Earth,
Has a beauty that could match yours.
I take you to a hidden riverbank,
And show you a canoe,
A packet lunch,
And a little blanket.
I help you in,
And we head down the river,
The water strolling past,
As I look into your eyes,
The sweet air rolling past us.
I find a small field over looking the river,
So I stop and pull the canoe up,
We get out and go sit on the blanket,
Just you, and me
We laugh and run and play,
And spend the whole afternoon together.
As night comes,
We sit,
You in my arms,
Against a tree trunk.
The moonlight raps around us like a blanket,
I sit,
And look at you,
And know that this is perfect,
For me to hold you,
Looking into your eyes,
And tell you I love you,
I never want to leave,
As you gently fall asleep in my arms,
The moonlight on your face,
As I reach over,
And gently kiss you,
I pick you up,
And carry you to the canoe,
I here you gently say I love you,
As you slowly awake from your sleep,
And this makes the tears fill in my eyes.
Nothing could ever be so wonderful,
Then being with the one you love,
Holding them,
Loving them,
This is the main joy of life,
Loving someone so very much,
And knowing that they feel the same for you,
Valentines day is a special day,
To let the one you love know how you feel,
Let all the fear out of your body,
And follow your heart,
For if you do,
You shall be happy in the end,
And be able to have a happy Valentines Day……
