I thought I was over you
And I knew I was gonna tell you, too
I was so proud of myself
For being so strong and sure
But I looked deep into your eyes today
And knew it wasnt true
Why can't I stop caring
When you laugh at all the pain you've got me bearing?
Why should I talk to you emotionally
When all you say is "Ok" and shrug?
And why is my life so incomplete
Without you there to hug?
The calls, letters, emails, they don't matter to you
You may think not, but all those things I say are true
So leave me totally
Or love me fully
If not more than friends,
Just show me that you care
And take comfort in knowing, that whatever you decide
I'll always be there~*~*~
