4 all the firemen on 9-11-01
Rating:
Quality: (Quality: Unrated)
As the sirens went off inside the city,
And crumbled to pieces where it used to be pretty,
A man suited up, helmet and all,
Ready to save those who survived the fall.
His hair brown and shortly cut,
Fear burning indide his gut.
His family watched as he entered the Towers,
The little yellow suit covered from ash showers.
His son waited for his dad to come out,
Hoping he wouldnt have to worry about,
His daddy coming home that night,
And wondering if his days would be as bright.
His son watched as a body was pulled from the rubble,
And knew right away last night was his last cuddle.
He would never be held in his dads arms again,
Knowing days of sorry soon would begin.
This man was definately a true American hero,
For his life ended at Ground Zero.
