My really good friend Corrina was having a hard time at home. She would get into fights with her mom and get really upset. Then she would start to cut herself. I lived right across the street so she would sneak out of her house and come over whenever she was cutting herself. I began to get really worried because on time that she came over she was telling me "if things dont get better at home...im going to kill myself" i didnt know what to do. my parenets already knew about all of this because about a year earlier she was doing the same things. Corrina had been put on maedication because her tharapist thought depression was why she was doing these things. After talking to my parents about what i should do I went to the counsilors at school. i told my counsilor and i talked to hers. Then all i could do was wait. I began to stress out around fourth peroid. One of the P.E. teachers (her P.E. teacher) came in to tell me that they were taking her to the hospital. I freaked out because it thought she was going to be sooooo ANGRY with me. I dodnt know what to do so i went into one of my teachers class rooms and call ed my mom. On the phone i started crying. I talked to a bunch of people trying to figure out where she was but no one would tell me anything. I was really stressed out thinkin about hing like if i did the right thing or if i should have kept it all to myself. But then something came into my head that if i wouldnt have said anything and didnt try to get her help and then she killed herself I would feel like it was my falt. I went home and at around 6:30 pm she came home. Her mom said she couldnt talk when i went over there to talkt o her. The next day my mom and i came home i talked to her. The first thing she said to me was " did you know i was admitted....do you have any idea how scared i was?" i didnt know what to say except that i had some idea because i was scrared and sick to my stomache too. We are still friends because she told me that she realized i wouldnt have done it if i didnt care about her. Most people think that 1 person cant do alot but thats not true 1 person can sometimes do more than 1 thousand!!!!! Friendship is alot of work sometimes but its all worth it.
