A freaky encounter along with music

I was on holiday with my parents in Portugal for easter the holidays. My mothers' friend had lent us her summer house by the village of Sintra. It hadn't been used in over a year,so the whole house was humide and cold.A smell had invaded all the rooms,a smell of dead plants and old air mixed with water and hadn't been let out in over a year.
Every thing was humide including the curtains, and every room was dirty.Black muck filled all the smallest cracks. As soon as i arrived i  i had a bad feeling about the house,it felt wrong, but i ignored that, knowing i scare myself very easily.
The house was composed like so:on the ground floor, the kitchen was linked to the small dinning room and laundry room.the stting room was linked to the dinning room but was separated from the kitchen. It led to the the hall which had a big wooden stairway. There was also a small guest toilet, and in the kitchen a small twisted stairway descended to the basement. It was like a well, but in the middle of a kitchen.
On the second floor,as you climed the wooden stairway, you could see on the left my parents bedroom which was on top of the sitting room, and their bathroom was above the dinning room.On the right of the stairway, and again to the right was my bedroom, above the kitchen, separated fom the bathroom which was over the laundry room.Opposit my bedroom was another guest bedroom which always reminded me of a psychiatric ward because of the plain and simple decoration. This was above the dinning room aswell as my parents' bathroom.
Every evening we would light a fire (in the middle of spring!)and drink a glass of madeira, bought from a supermarket nearby, too warm ourselves up before bed.
Then my mother would switch on all the radiators and added the blankets to the beds.We would keep our jumpers and socks on,since we didn't want to freeze to death.
One night my mother asked me if i wanted her to bring up a bottle of water just in case i would get to hot.But as usual,i had to say no,and do the stupidest.
I got into my bed, took the Muse cd out of its' case, put it in the cd player and pressed play. The first song played,"sunburn",i sang along for a few minutes then quickly fell asleep, with frosbite...
Then the next morning, suddenly woke up to find out i was...thirsty..typical.I tried fnding an alternativ to going down the stairs, opening the fridge, grabbing the bottle and climbing up the stairs,i was too tired and not in the mood to move about in house i hardly know and specially trust. If you can trust a house.
So i decided to drink from the tap in my bathroom.I did so but ended up even more thirsty because,...the water was hot.Jut my luck.In the end,i gathered my courage and i decided to drag my lazy carcass down those stairs.
I just went to check if i hadn'twoken my parents up with my mumbling, complaining, since it was the wee hours of the morning,7 am when usualy i get up at 2.30 in the afternoon.I'm not a morning person. So i slowly placed my hand on the doornob, twisted it,and let the squeaky door open.
Both my parents were asleep.Especially my father who was in total bliss, like a cairn of snoring stones, had no idea of what i was going through.I was petrified:i was alone,in the dark, and some freezing, dirty dump in the middle of nowhere.I closed the door looking at the skylight filled with orange-blue light pouring out of it and forming a patch of life in the black abyss named the summer house.Yeah right!I was so hoping not to see a head pop round the corner of the window, and luckily it didn't.
I went down the stairs, complete silence filled the house.Only the sounds of my feet gently touching the steps and the early birds singing outside.
I arrived safely into the kitchen ,opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water.I took a sip, walked back towards the stairs and started climbing them.Suddenly, something caught my eye or rather my ear.Someone or something was calling my name,"Alexandra",with the exact same voice as my dads', except this one was empty. It had no feeling.I was so hoping for it to be my dads',so i called back:"dad?".The hairs on the back of my neck and on my arms stood up,as if they were trying to runaway,i  was freezing and could see white steam coming out of me.
Instead all i got was another "Alexandra"in the so english accent that my father has.So similer yet i knew it wasn't his.I made myself beleive it was him even though, deep inside of me i couldn't convince myself so.But i persisted..."dad?"
I hated myself at that moment because i knew that i didn't want to look, and we all know that curiosity killed the cat.Still the other half of me had to.I closed my eyes and slowly turned my head towards the sitting room. And there i saw something sitting in the armchair, just the top of the head sticking up,i wished i never had seen.ITS' head slowly twisted round and there appeard the had of somthing i feared the most.
It had black beady eyes, lifeless,so empty. It had neither a nose or ears, just eyes and a mouth, grinning back at me with long sharp teeth and dry black lips.
I froze.I felt as if i had no more legs and i couldn't say anything because my mouth was filled with horror and was dry like the Sahara desert.
Three bony fingers placed themselves upon the head rest, the skin pale as the one froma sick, dying child. It waved at me,still with that evil smile, untouched. And it sunddenly disapeared.Instead it gave me a face of disgust and angryness. And it vanished towards the kitchen.I remembered i had legs and rushed up towards my room, slammed the door, switched off the light, and pressed play once again, and "sunburn"came on.
Sunddenly i thought of my parents..."please no..."escaped from my mouth.A few minutes of silence passed and the next song came,"muscle museum".I sang along in my hea trying to forget that bony pale face. But i couldn't,it was ingraved in my memory, never to be erased.
Then the sound of very quick walking came, almost like something was rolling, and it was coming my way.I heard the door open slowly and steps walking toward my bed.And they stoped, just at the foot of my bed.I closed my eyes, and pushed my eyelids together as much as my brain would let me.And once again it called my name,"Alexandra" followed by an evil giggle. At that point i was praying...My cd was still playing and i could still feel its' presence by my bed.I was colder than ever.To the entity it was like a game, but it had not idea what was going through my head at the moment,it was scaring the life out of me,but it was fun for IT.
And then the sound of a slamming door filled me with relief.I couldn't feel its' presence anymore. The song kept playing, and as to forget about all of the incident,i sang along. And eventuelly fall asleep, keeping n mind i wouldn't tell my parents because i knew they wouldn't beleive me,but i did anyway, and i was right.Justlike in those kids' horror movies.Somthing happens to them but the adults don't beleive them and give them some mumbo-jumbo explanation to make them feel secure, but the children know it really did happen,of course, the parents weren't there when it happened.
Anyway the day we left,my mother asked me to get the bottle of water she had forgotten in the kitchen.I did so and as i wasgoing to leave, from the bottom of the twisted stairs that led to the gloomy and cold basement,a noise came out,"Alexandra".And i had to look down to find that lifeless face staring back and grinning, and an evil giggle to accompany it.And the entity vanished.I screamed and vanished into the car.
