firstly i'd just like to say that all this arguments about what country is better blah blah is really sad. every country has its own heritage and special things so dont go disrespecting other people because they think different.< THINGS ABOUT AUSTRALIA:
** we dont have kangaroos everywhere-infact they are pretty much only in the outback, where not many people live
** we do not think steve irwin is cool- quite the opposite
** we dont all say g'day mate
** we dont get our drivers license until we are 17
** most of us hate nikki webster-the girl who sung at the opening ceremony of the olympic games
** canberra is the capital of Australia...though u might think it is sydney.
** queensland has the best beaches
** aboriginal tribes are NOT everywhere u walk...they mostly live in particualar suburbs of australia
** it only snows in the southern parts of austraila, of which is not as much as other countries
** we dont live on "bush tucker"-we actually eat normal foods!
** instead of Wal-Mart...we have K-mart
** we drive on opposite lanes to americans in the car
** we say mum ..not mom
** we say "Boot" instead of "trunk"-of the car
** guns are illegal to own
** most the population love the shows everybody loves raymond, becker, malcom in the middle and sex and the city plus more
** we are friendly people to tourists

and thats all i can think of for now.
