Around the Christmas season most people are trying to get the best of the best for their loved ones a gift should be out of love not how much it coasts witch leads me to my story:
As a Mother of a family of 3 her husband and 2 children a boy named Tommy; 5 and a little girl named Annie; 7.
Annie and Tommy's Mother had breat Cancer and had a very little time left to live. They wanted to make their Mother has the best Christmas ever to show their love. They did everything to gain the last penny around the house they knew there wasnt much of a christmas just like the last but they were greatful for what they got. One day Annie and Tommy went to a Walmart with their Daddy, as he was busy looking for something Tommy found some very nice gold slippers he called Annie over and told her what he saw, he thought it was the best gift ever! Annie pulled out the 5 dollars she had took the best pair and went up to the checkout line. As they went up to pay for the slippers the lady asked "sweetie wheres your mom or dad?" Tommy answered "Mommy's at home she's very sick right now Daddy dosent know we are buying these slippers." Annie added "We are buying these for Mommy because she's the best Mommy and Daddy said that she will be up in heaven soon waiting for us." Tommy said "yeah, we want her to have the best gold slippers in heaven." the lady was shocked as a tear came to her eye their Father came to the checkout line he had told her he was very sorry for holding up the line and wasting her time. Then their Father took them by the hands without the slppers and lead them out of the store. Annie and Tommy were in tears because they could buy their mommy the best for christmas. he explained to them that mommy had the best gift ever because she had them as her children. They went back into the store and bought the slippers. A few weeks after Christmas Their Mother had passed away. And Annie still has her mothers gold slippers.
