Okay...I've grown up in a Christian family, and we all attend church regularly. I have what I like to call 'blind faith', even though I can't see God, I know he's there. Many people I am friends with have used the analogy that 'God is like the wind, even though you can't see it, you don't doubt it's existence'. Hmm....But we have proof that the wind exists, and there is no proof with the exception of the bible that God existed. I have read many other forwards on this site that have said 'God said the earth was round in the bible, and God predicted that the American government would be corrupt' I am very familiar with the bible, and any half intelligent person could tell you, that the holy scriptures say nothing of the sort.

But then again, to the atheists of the world, I totally understand where you are coming from, and I believe as a female of the 'left wing', that you are entitled to your own opinion. But, may I remind you, that there is proof that the old testiment in particular is correct, the dead sea scrolls have been translated and proves that at least five of the books (chapters) are real. I guess the rest is up to you, and what you believe in. Although there are gaps in the 'christian faith' Darwin's theory of evolution also leaves quite a lot to be desired. There are many gaps in it, and the most common thing people who donot understand his theory say is 'Why do we still have monkeys or apes'. I encourage all you people to read his story, it is a very well thought out one, yet it still has many unanswered questions (ie genes).

Also, I am not a 'die hard' Christian. Sure, I think people who preach the lord's word are great, and I admire them for their dedication. But, I cannot stand the intolerance of some of the people in our religion. We all have the right to believe in what we want, Jesus, Buddha, Allah whoever! It doesn't matter! Pagan's had half of the right idea!! Nature! Anyway, I've included a few of my favourite quotes and things in here. So guys remember your morals....and what you have had instilled in your system.
