I never thought the way you treated me would be this horrible. You treat me like crap, you treat me like dirt, you think my family's not good enough, you hit me with the world map. You think your so big, you think your so strong,you never like the jobs I do, you rewined my first gig. I hate it when you drink, I hate it when you yell, I hate it when you scream, I hate in when you throw up in the bathroom sink. I wish you'd go away, I wish you'd screw off, I wish you'd stop your madness, I just wish that you'd say..... I love you Kate. I loved the way you used to kiss me, I loved the way you'd buy some wine, I loved the way you hugged me, I loved the way you used to sing me songs. Now you wear jeans and a white t-shirt, you comb your hair back, you always act tough around our four sons, I'm not even gonna say what you've been doing to our youngest and only daughter alone. I wish you'd stop this Mike, you don't see what this is doin to our family. Your tearing us apart. For the past two years, we and you have been up half the night screamin at eachother, which ends up with me beaten and crying. You have to stop drinkin Mike, you dont know what its doin to you. Out of the past fifteen years of my life, they were perfect. Those were the good times. Our daughter wasn't bein molested by you, and you werent beating me up. You weren't yelling at the boys all day and all night.I've wanted to run away with the kids for so long, but because of fear,I hesitate. Thats my life now, I live in fear. Thats the whole family's life. Fear. Mike, please stop. Thats my only wish. Or the whole seventeen years of marriage with me will be gone forever. Forever Mike. I wish you would stop, because the truth is, you have a choice, you can be clean and sober and have a real family, or you can continue on, like the way you are now. The change in your appearance frightened me Mike. Your neck and face are beet red, and you have dark circles around you eyes. Your neck looks leathery, and your only fourty years old. I'm thirty-nine, and I shouldn't be treated like this from you. Mike, your sick, your crazy. I want you to get some help, or all your work of seventeen years will be gone. The five kids you and I have produced, and me. When I look around the living room, after the past two years of fighting every night, I feel horrible. Chairs are turned over, lamps are broken, hampers are opened, and dirty clothes are all over the floor. Beer bottles are broken all over, and beer staines the carpet. I know the old Mike in in you.
