I sit
in this tiny room
I am all alone
and thinking of you


Never have I met someone
that treats me like this
You put a smile on my face
I live in permanent bliss


But as we get closer
I start to get scared
I don't want to get hurt again
Thats more the I can bare


I'm sinking slowly
In this pool of emotion
Lost and confused
As my feelings come undone


I want to bring down these walls
I want to let you in
But you wouldn't understand
I don't know where to begin


It's hard to explain
All this hurt that I've felt
I wish I could tell you
All the pain I've been delt


You make me smile
But on the inside I cry
These mixed emotions drive me crazy
I need to say goodbye


Goodbye to all the anger
and goodbye to all the pain
someonenew is in my life
and i need to learn to love again


So as we sit together
and you see me pull away
It's not your fault, so don't worry
because soon, that will change.


*~*OOOK, I wrote this poem a couple days ago...I met this wonderful guy, but from all the bad relationships I've had, I've tried to stay single to keep from getting hurt. Well, now I'm liking him more then anything..but I'm still scared of going out with him. I told him I'd date him and see what happends, but he doesn't understand. Today, I got a note saying"I don't like us acting like we're going out if we're not going to, so when you're ready to have a boyfriend we can talk" and now he won't talk to me. It hurts... so much for trying to avoid it, and so much for him being that wonderful guy---if you like this poem, email me, i could use compliments right now lol. layas everyone!*~*
