Hi I just felt it was important that I write this message, because I was a victim of this. And I still am. 

I am 13 years old. I will soon be in eighth grade. My life is 

miserable. Who made it miserable? I can't point fingers, theres too

long a list. But I will tell you this, You could be a murderer. 

Thousands of people commit suicide every year. In North America 

alone. Most of thease suicides are driven by bullies. Now your 

probably thinking "Well, it's a good thing I'M not a bully" Well 

sorry to break it to you, but you are. If your reading this, your a 

bully. Your friends are bullies, your loved ones. Everyone you know. 

They have at least once in there lifetime made someone feel 

worthless. Now the point of this is, stop. Think. Do something. 

These deaths don't need to be happening. And unless you have been 

through it, you can't begin to describe the pain. The kinda heavy 

feeling in your heart that doesn't go away. The pain of wanting to 

die, or as quoted from the film Girl Interuppted "How you hurt 

yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside" The 

thing that is eating away your heart, the thing that grows larger 

and more powerful with each hurtful thing people say to you. Now 

just think, YOU could be the person causing these feelings in 

someone you know. The 'Loner' at school, the girl who eats all by 

herself at lunchtime, the kid with the funny looking glasses 

everyone makes fun of, they could be a valuble friend. They could 

grow up to be a movie star, a rock star, a future presedent, or 

maybe even your childs teacher, your docter, or maybe your milkman! 

Whatever they choose to do, they will make a difference. Just like 

you will someday. Don't ruin it. Be nice to the 'nerds'. Don't 

continue being the bully.
