A day of Dismay

On my way to my first highschool party i remembered my dad's words nooooo drinking
As i rehearsed the words in my mind i thought of the all the crime
My friends said what the heck and i said if you went through what had to go through you would not drink and drive
As I lay on my bed
I remember the word that were said,
My moms slowly running tears running down her
beloved cheeks as i listened to her words
There has been an accident
as my short 8 year old body lay on
the bed i rehearsed the words that ran
throgh my head.AS i asked what had happened
they told me that my sister was dead
as i lay in shock i asked what had happened
they said a drunk driver had ran over
her life as she lay on the road with
her life splattered in red i still rehearsed the
words that were rammed in my head. Today is
the day i will protest against drunk driving.
All u stupid kids who ate dum dums instead of smarties thanx for
what you have put me through i hate you too
Just remember when i am dead and gone remember the words
i rehearsed in my head , don' be dum and don't be mean
just see me lying on the bed with my sisters memories running
throgh my head you will someday pay for that horrible day you know who you are and you will pay
for the stupid drinkers loveya nots
