1 A View of Right and Wrong
Rating: PG-13
Quality: (Quality: Unrated)
As I have browed through the forwards in this abortion section,
I noticed some language that disturbs me. I see a lot of
comments like, "you have to do what is right for you" and
"it is only my opinion". I think a lot of this stems from
the thought that everyone has to find their own truth. There
is no universal truth and everyone must define what is "right"
for themselves. There is no wrong and right that applies to
the entire human race.
Here are my thoughts. If everyone has to find their own truth,
we should raise a statue to Osama Bin Ladin. That could be the
memorial for the September 11 attacks. We could place it right
where the twin towers stood. After all, he and his followers
were brave enought to carry out their own truth, right? We should
praise him for finding his own truth.
Now, I don't really think that we should do that. I think that
what occurred on Sept 11 was evil, as I hope you do. But, what
should we say, then? Does everyone choose their own right and
wrong? Or is their one universal truth, established by God for
our protection?
I am curious to know your thoughts. Give me an email.
