I was only 10 at the time. Now im 13, and i understand the meaning ov a lot ov words i heard that day. words like dead, raped, and drunk, cross my mind 24/7  u always think ur house is the safest pplace, an i always DID too. my name is krista, i told the officer over and over again. i repeated the same questin all the time, until a day later wen i was told the ansewer to my question. " jamie's body has not been found, and Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene, but ur lucky that u got away, or im sure u woud b in the same condition" the tall guy ansewerd real sweet and slick. i just remembered throwing up wen he told me that in a world so safe, in my lil country side home town. u r wondering how my friend, well its plain and simple. the story came together a lot fastr a week later, wen officer davis called w/ more information about jamie. Her body had been found by a lake a few minutes down the road. she had been brudly beaten, and sexualy herassed, she was totaly naked wen they found her, she had been sufercatedthe word for that is rape, a dam drunk rapest killed jamie, she was so beautiful along with jamies body was Mr.Quints's body. our beloved nabor. he had been the horific man who took the lives ov my bestfriends
      He came raoring down the hill in his shaggy old beat up van, he had run us off the road, hitting Kelly first, then swirving after me. i ran as fast as i could for the woods, not looking back. A minute later i herd the screams ov my twin sister jamie, she had been my closest friend i new there was no hope for kelly, who had been hit i ran to my small cotage house, an called 911, and thats the last thing i remember Mr.Quints had been drunk, and filled w/ achohole wen they found him. they said he probably wouldnt hav leashed out so much, if he hadnt ov been drunk an drinking
      Kelly  Jamie i will love u guys forever, we were all so young, it shouldnt hav happened to anyone, but especialy u guys, u were so sweet
