God, please keep me safe
and out of harms way
Help me know that you are always there
through every night and day
When I’m feeling lonely
and discouraged at my post
Help me lean on You alone
and count on You the most
When I miss my family
or start thinking of a friend
I’ll know that You are always there
and will be until the end
Shield me from the battle
that is surely going to start
Protect me from the enemy
and guide me from the heart.

Say A prayer for their families who anxiously await their return. Say a prayer for their children who wonder why Daddy isnt at home anymore. Say a prayer for their spouses who are watching the news with tear filled eyes every day waiting for any news of their division. Say A prayer for their parents who still cant believe that is their child out there. Say a prayer for their sisters who can't stand the thought of never seeing them again. Say a prayer for their brothers who feel like their losing their best friend. But most of all, say A prayer for the soldiers. A prayer that wherever they are they will be safe in God's hands. Say a prayer that they will never see the horrors of the gruesome fighting. Say a prayer that each night they are tucked away safely at their army base. Say a prayer that they will return home safe and sound.
