Dear reader,
Greetings. I am a 13 year old Neopagan from Ohio and I am just confused about Christians Here are my questions...
Why do they campaign for religious freedom, but they think that every religion other than their own is wrong and they have to convert every non-Christian to Christianity? Well, actually it is not our job to convert people. We are to spread the news God does the rest. And when we campaign for religious freedom its not like were only campaigning for Christianity. Those who are Christians God is our life. Lets say they started banning neopaganism from schools you werent allowed to mention it or anything i think you would be pretty upset. You obviously would because youre upset of Christians pressuring you to give up your ways.
Why do they make such a fuss about Satanists when there are less than 1000 of them in the USA? Its not so much that i am scared of them they are no worse than anyone else for everyone sins we were born with a sinful nature. For me it is that my heart goes out to them and if anything this should be proof that there is something real about God that we would take up our time and effort to care for those 1000 satanists. As for persecuting them if that is what you meant those who do are either immature in their faith or dont walk in faith at all and are actual hypocrits.
Neopaganism is an Earth based religion that worships generaly, Nature. You can see nature. A cult, by definition, is a group of people who blindlessly follow a leader. Why, then, do Christians call Neopaganism a cult, when Christianity is a real cult? Have you ever seen Jesus? No, but they still follow him. No I have never seen Jesus, but I have seen Him work and people in the past have seen Him with proof that He walked the earth. Now may I ask you how are you so sure taht waht your calling gods are really gods I mean does not nature depend on something else to nurture it? The fact is that everything is limited and nothing can live without something else being there but the God i believe in needs nothing, but has it all and is the source of all good things.
Why do they demonize drugs and alcohol so much? According to the bible, Jesus once said "It is not what goes in the mouth of a man, but what comes out of it." Also in the bible, it says that god put the drugs there. So what do Christians have against drugs? Note: I do not take drugs or alcohol. Im glad to hear that because it does damage the body lol. I would like to know where in the Bible it says that God put the actual drugs on the earth and that their purpose was to get men high so they could hurt themselves? but the first issue is is that that first verse was taken way out of context. you cant take a verse like taht out of the Bible that is in a section that is talking about how you need to watch what you say and say that it is saying it is ok to drink and be a pothead. God put all plants and everything on the earth but once man sinned God had to leave the earth because sin cannot be in His presence so more bad stuff entered the world. Evil is the absence of goodnes like darkness is the absence of light. Its not the fact that God made drugs it is the fact that we use the drugs in a way that is far from God. Plus God doesnt just make laws to boss us around He makes them to keep us away from getting hurt. Here are a couple of verses that are not taken out of context....
1 Corinthians 6:19It is talking about those who accepting Christ as their savior "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." (Why then wuld i drink or smoke which is harmful to my body, that is not glorifying God with my body and that is not being thankful for what He has givin me.) Now some verses on drunkeness...theres lots and are not taken out of context and im sure more....1 Corinthians6:9-10 "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, not idolaters, nor adulteres, nor seual perverts, not thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God."
Galatians 5:19-21"Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkeness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
Ephesians 5:18"And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit"
Why do they worship on Sunday if the bible says the Sabbath is on Saturday?
Sabbath was made for man not God. It is our day of rest its not the fact of what day the Sabbath is on which means(day of rest) but that we have a Sabbath. It is the fact that God would like us to set aside a day of rest before our week begins. In these days the business week does not begin on Sunday but on Monday so we feel it is best to have that day of rest on Sunday. Again tho it does not matter what day. it is the fact that we obey God and have a day of rest because it was created for us.
Why do they say that they are being oppressed by the government? Look at what they have done to other religions: Most schools prohibit non-Christian jewelry, Dick Cheney is trying to get mandatory prayer and bible study back in public schools, Christians have their own radio stations, TV stations, schools, and day-care centers but other religions have none of that, 1/4 of the world is Christian? Well first of all it is not Christians who got non Christian things prohibited. In fact I have no clue what you are talking about.Its just the fact that some things are prohibited from schools because they have reason to believe it is psychologically harmful or even physically harmful. I will gaurantee you that half the people that prohibited those things are not Christians they may just have some of the same morals. I mean im sure me and you havae some of the same morals. And when you say non Christian jewelry i dont know what you are talking about because i go to a CHRISTIAN school and were allowed to wear anything it doesnt have to do with God. And so what your saying is is that where you go everything you wear has to do with Christianity and have Jesus hanging on a cross on it or something? And if you are wearing jewelry of like skulls or something yeah that is non Christian but im sure were not the only people that dont like taht. Personally i think it is your decision what you want to wear as long as it isnt harmful toward other people. Oh and its not like it is against the law for other religions to have tv shows radio stations, etc they can too Have you ever thought that maybe you always hear of them because we have this longing and passion over our religion and we want everyone to know so we make as many things possible to spread the word?. Now as far as being oppressed by the gov't we feel that way because just like you dont like us pushing our ways on you we dont like other ways getting pushed on to us. There are so many schools taht arent even allowing the name Jesus to be spoken by teachers because it might be offenseive, well dont you think that constantly being taught that evolution was the actual way the earth came into existence and being told premarital sex isnt harmful as long as you use protection (which is a lie) is offensive toward not only Christians but many religions? So I guess every religion has their struggles huh? So what is wrong with Christians trying to stop them?
Why do they always point out how much evidence is missing from the evolution theory, but then the bible has NO evidence to back it up? I dont know where you heard that the Bible has NO evidence but that is not true at all. I got the following quotes from a website i found off of ask.com.

(7)" So pretty much it is saying that the proof that the Bible is true and the stories are true is so overwhelming that to think it is not is crazy.

Not to mention there are 85 prophecies in the old testament and all have been fulfilled. Even historians that are atheists look at the Bible and have to say it is true they just still dont worship the same God, and taht is their choice.
You believe in the writings of aristotle dont you? and the illiad you believe that someone actually wrote that? Well for a historical document to be proven true there has to be at least 5 manuscripts found andwithin 100 years the taht the event happened. and they have to all be found in different locations. Well for most documents there may be like 300 or 500 or even little as 10 but the Bible there is 20,000 just for the old testament. Im sure many of the things you believed happened in history only have had documents recovered of like 300 or so may be a little more. And not to mention that 1 out of every 8 prophecies to come true is a probability of 1 to 1000000000000000000 and 85 came true in the Old Testament.
